Rather than parading my own ideas, as hard worked as I think they may be, I'd rather hear from the community at large about their thoughts.

What civs would they like?
How would they play?
What gameplay mechanics/gimmicks would they have to make them unique?
Anything else?

I dunno, TBH, but there's a lot here.

serious answer: maybe

civ: romes
how would they play? dont know
unique mechanic: for each 500 gold mined they get something special and 500 stone same or one of it (because of the fact that the roman imperium was so big and powerful)
they could have "war leaders" too (similar like india on aoe3 with their "leaders")

well dont know imo it sounds good :P

Never played AoE3, tbh so dunno what war leaders do.

I suppose most folks are still adjusting to the fact that AoEO even exists so I'll chill on these future civ concept stuff for now.

Well, the initial focus is on bringing back all of the existing civs ;)

Tru dat! I want my Babylon back!

But I'd also kill to say, build an empire of Ancient Chinese Crossbows and Great Walls.

Hope Celeste can find a way to revive Rome. It is difficult at the moment as Rome is way too under developed and the licence required to build new unit models are too expensive
