It's not so much that people are worried about it being unsafe, but that they are worried about running an executable (which can cause all sorts of mayhem) from someone who's said that edeholand "sucked all the hoes of the city" as well as insulted various other members with insults that I don't remember cause they were in Russian
ESO-Assistant is finally back with new version. XaKOps isn't here on forums anymore, but the app keeps getting updates. ESO-A is an app with lots of tools that improves your AoE3 experience.

i have a suggestion, make the IP list on the IP checker exportable and uploadable, so that if you would use different pc's or something, you'd still have the list and wouldnt have to copy paste everything one line by another.
also allow the checker to list by alphabetic order
This always was interesting, but is this safe? I remember some fishy things about it, and that was before the developer's account was hacked/his account spammed a bunch of random insults tagging members...

I don't know anything about programming, but personally I would never download it. I wouldn't even have downloaded it before the guy acted up.
Would you mind explaining though why a random guy having the ability to update the app is not a security concern? And in general, I am a little wary of downloading programs from the internet made by just some random guy. I downloaded the EP because I know multiple people worked on it and reviewed it, but before I think only Xakops was making the app.
