We're looking for someone who can do art, and/or playtest our Age of Empires 1 mod with us. I've had offers of this from people on moddb before. But none of the people have came through to help playtest actually. We communicate on Skype, so we'd need you to have a Skype account and communicate on that.

Playtesting would involve playing the games in 1v1's, and, hopefully if we have enough people, 2v2's. Testing how units perform in matches and if they are cost effective in countering other units.

Art would involve making new politician portraits (for when you age up). If you feel you can do some new portraits in a good style. Just write here or send a message.

I'll be on vacation for a few more weeks, but I'll have some time to talk while still on vacation, and am posting here to give some time for people to see this.

I could sign up for play-testing, though I have one concern — how easy does it switch from the mod to the regular version of the game? I watched the installation video and I'm a bit worried about that

Once you move the files to where they need to be, it's as simple as renaming some folders. If you make a shortcut to game directory shouldn't even take a minute, and I can help you with that. If you'd like to join send me the Skype name and I will add you .

I hope you get some help for this truly amazing mod, though I don't think I have much time to commit to this myself right now.

Perhaps you could consider creating a Discord server for AoE1:HD where the community could praise the mod's greatness, report bugs, and playtesting matches would be organized which people could jump into. Stuff like that, akin to WoL or NE servers.

AoE1 mod on AoE3..?? Seems cool. I tried out AoE1 recently, and its quite good. If you recreate that magic in this mod, I would be awesome. :-)
