Pretty Town Contest

Has anything like that ever taken place in AoE3? I've seen a lot of art works in AoE2, and Pretty Town Contest/Competition was organised on Heaven Games year by year in early 2000s, so I'm curious to see whether more graphically advanced game of ours was included by players who make beautiful countrysides and so on

I'm so disappointed that I am the first person posting a response. I was hoping I'd come in here and see a bunch of screenshots and think oh man I can do much better etc... But alas as I have oft complained the current aoe3 community is more interested in their narrow minded build orders and less so in matters of historical knowledge or the artistic soul... Maybe I'll post one later because ill admit I skmrtimes go in to the editor just to do that lets see if I can dig anything up

I remember back when I started playing aoe3 I actually tried making pretty maps/towns on the scen editor.
Pretty nice and original idea, would be really nice if more people partake in it

It's certainly nice that you put some effort in that, you could change the terrain however since it's a bit monotonic sometimes. I'll definitely try it by myself soon.

This concept would be better if AoE3 didn't have such an atrocious scenario editor.
