Could anyone mod ekanta UI for me?

I've been wanting an improved version of the Ekanta UI for a while. I think it's really pretty and I've honestly gotten used to it, but its also puts on a shitload of additional information and shortcuts that aren't really helping me (rather cluttering my mind). I'd mod it myself but I have no idea how I'd do that, so I'd be super happy if anyone can help me out with it. In the following image, red means just remove the information (less is more :p), It'd be awesome if the unit queue could be moved to the area specified by the green box. If anyone could do this I'd be extremely grateful.

The asian UI is slightly different. I'd be happy if the export information could be preserved haha.

Let's make our own UI, though I'm not sure what needs modding to get that done.

I agree that ekanta is almost perfect but some shit like prod queue needs to be more visible. i also think that some stuff can be made bigger, like pop count (10/10 on your screenshot). kind of like qaz's UI: http://aoe3.heavengames.com/qazitory/euromax.jpg

I will try to take a look into this. Better not expect anything since I haven't modified the UI before and in fact haven't even used a custom one ever. I think I still prefer the classic UI even after your proposed changes, but this could be an opportunity for me to dive into this stuff a bit, which I am curious about ;)

Oops, I fell asleep on this, but I have some news. I've already succeeded in removing all the stuff you wanted gone, moving the queue back up has proven difficult though. I found out how coordinates work there, but it seems the queue is contained by something and just goes invisible when I move it off its spot. I'll try to figure it out!

Oh, and export is preserved no worries ;)

@Jerom I have a modded version, that has moved the Unit training queue from the bottom to the left side above the mini map. I've also removed alot of pointless buttons. PM me which stuff you don't want and i'll take a look

I like it a lot. May I make two suggestions?

Make the population number much bigger and more visible.

Also, make the home-city flag a bit bigger and in the correct proportion. This should be aesthetically pleasing.

Really cool that you've managed to figure out how to mod the UI. o_o

If you remove the extra nonsense I think you'll gain some space to make the numbers slightly bigger.

@oo Basically what I said in the OP is how my ideal UI would look like.

Status update: I have managed to move queue into the exact spot Jerom wanted. Not sure what went wrong before, but I tried to start from scratch and move it bit-by-bit, which worked. Now I'm trying to incorporate Incog's suggestions.

@iNcog I have no idea how to reach Ekanta, he's put some url into the UI, but it doesn't work anymore. Feel free to contact him if you know how.

Its awesome. If I'd be really critical I guess it could be nice to have the shipment number in the middle of the HC flag, and I guess you can remove the structure in the middle section at the bottom which only used to be there for features that were nuked. More importantly, downlink plx

one more question: Did you actually lose that DM game agaisnt the AI lol?

it looks really, really good

can't really think of any further adjustment. your screenshot doesn't show the training queue

as for ekanta, i was just saying in general we should stick to his name. idk how to contact him, doubt he even cares, but still something to keep in mind, that's all :p

how do we install?
