Good luck in all you do in your young life and study hard ! It has been calculated that 100 hours of study equals around 10.000 dollars in returns in life. ( easy figures perhaps) BTW a BA degree is around 4000 hours.
Just watched the video and never used the Port consulate before aging myself. Without remembering standard age-up times i have the feeling that it slows you down quite much, especially given the fact that you sacrifice parts of your eco for it (just ~14 vills after age-up iirc). Probably i am missing something as i am not a strong India player myself. What are the benefits of this build?
Whatever is written above: this is no financial advice.
Not worth it just to get 180(?) food less for the ageup, you age around the same time as regular (even behind I'd say) with fewer vills. You can get around 4:40-4:50 consistently with the regular build assuming some small treasures and good macro, and with 3-4 more vills. If you wanna use consulate then do early tp-good faith relations-french consulate for a crate timing or FF.
It is just 120 food if i calculate correctly. On maps like deccan it could be worth it as you get so many starting ressources that you can probably age-up directly using the consulate.

It's not because by the time the consulate is built you have 800 food anyway
