On Baja California, I am unable to get the Apache natives to spawn. The native sites always spawn as Navajo. I have loaded the map over forty times in the last twenty mintues or so, and I always get Navajo. Do I have really bad luck or is there a bug with the spawning? From what I can gather Garja may have commented out the rng for the camp spawn and it always spawns in as Navajo because the else statement always executes. I don't really know though, I tried swapping the comments on line 602 and 603 and that didn't change much of anything. The line does say test though which draws my attention. I did not restart my client or leave ESO if that matters.

Uncomment the line '602' and comment the line '603', becoming:
Thus the map is varying between Apache / Navajo.
Code: Select all
natsvariation = rmRandInt(0,1)'
// natsvariation = 1'
Thus the map is varying between Apache / Navajo.

Yeah that is what I was thinking, and had tried. maybe i was just unlucky, I only loaded it a few times. I''ll get back to you guys later on it. Will the tournament just have no Apache natives in it?hermes wrote:Uncomment the line ''602'' and comment the line ''603'', becoming:Code: Select all

Baja California problems
I set it as fixed for the last version so that only one type of native would spawn. However I meant to be Apache (cause it's the closest native tribe to baja california in aoe3) so there is actually a mistake in the code.
Line 603 should just be natsvariation = 0'
Also the map description is clearly wrong.
Unfortunately yes, tourney will only have Navajo.
Ah for the record this map originally was meant to have 3 completely different spawns. The current one, another one with tcs on both side and a straight cliff with 4 passes and a tip-of-the-peninsula version without trade route. That's why all the native complexity.

Ok, thanks for the official input . Now that I have the problem addressed it doesn''t bother me. Thanks for investing so much time in to the mapsgarja wrote:I set it as fixed for the last version so that only one type of native would spawn.
