Should Serbia be banned?
Should Serbia be banned?
Seems to me like they might be too strong. They don't require hunt at all--they can get more than enough by livestock booming or making crops; they don't really even need gold mines because they can just transition to hajduks after their gold mines expire, and it doesn't even matter that the hajduk isn't a great unit, because by that point they'll already have a large enough mass that the civ bonus where units get stronger will push them way over the top anyway. I've played a few games recently where all I need to do is play passively and once I hit an army size of 30-50+ units, it's not possible to lose a fight any longer. In one of the games all of my units had over 150 attack, and I still had 60 pop worth of units left to abuse it.

I think you're overrating Serbia, their army is definitely good and so is the livestock, but the crops are pretty weak imo (like for all balkan civs). Also their army can easily be beaten by long range skirmish units (with good kiting) and artillery masses.

I also find Serbia amazing in fortress, but I didn't use them because I think their early game is weak. I mean sure their explorer has the treasure bonus but they don't have good politicians for age II and their age II units are bad. Therefore many civs can prevent them to age up and win with better early mass/better units. I may be wrong but I'd like to be explained why

Too late, kebab removal is now banned in WoL
Re: Should Serbia be banned?
To be honest I don’t see why they would even need to age, they practically have vet upgrades available to their units at their military buildings in Colonial anyway, and the larger your army gets the harder it scales anyway, so you might as well just invest in more units rather than aging

Serbia are good and probably a top 5 civ but it wasn't necessary to exclude them.
The only one that did need to go was Japan since there was a huge gulf between them and the rest of the pack.
Luckily there are still so many civs to choose from it shouldn't really matter either way.
