I'd like to tentatively suggest that this happens right before the finals happen, which I'm hoping will happen a weekend at around 20 GMT. Ideally, then, we'd be able to play this one at around 17 GMT on the same day as the finals are held. Let me know if this is possible and I'll get a news post up.

RO8 : GUA's strategy to shedule consisted in posting messages such as "hey can you play in 5 min ?" and even not finish the whole serie.
RO4 : Optimus_Prime strategy consisted in not even posting, not even knowing the veto rules, and it seems to be the same strat for the final
Bronze match : jerom does even not seem to know he must be playing.

Why would people even play a tournament which goals are to provided fun and good casted games if they dont feel concern ? There is no cash price involving and it's a minor tournament.

This kind of attitude is disrespectful to the tournament's followers and viewers, to the staff who invest time for this event and to the other players succh as @Jerimuno

Sirmusket liking svmerle's post. The irony. Like "yeah he's right, they're killing second chance!" :hmm:

3rd place matches are just demotivating and I don't actually have time at all.

And that's why you didn't even care to leave a reply in this thread since 3 days, even if you have been posting other stuff on ESOC. Because it's "demotivating".
Tbh they should probably stop organizing second chance tourneys

I hope you realize how pathetic that sounds.
Also, you could have at the very least posted earlier about you not caring about this and/or not having time.

The problem is that I don't even know when I can play so. I actually did kinda forget about it and was probably going to try to find some time to play.

But hey, the community has decided I'm a piece of shit so I'll just give up. Something along the lines of self fulfilling prophecy.

For the record, we're talking about 5 posts total.

Well letting your opponent know about tourney stuff is a bit important so you could probably have typed in the scheduling thread, if you anyway logged on ESOC and saw the notification... And the 3rd place match being "demotivating" is really a poor argument.
The thing is that you always complain about how trash the community is but you actually don't even play your small finals.

I'm not the best when it comes to these things. I saw the notification, and then just thought to respond a bit later trying to find out more about my availability but I then forgot about it. Forward a few days and my opponent and a bunch of random guys jump on the flame wagon because someone forgot about something.. Seems very excessive. Playing all these matches has been hard for me considering my schedule, the part where I lost motivation to play the game at all, and then not forget to mention the extreme struggle this tournament has had. When I signed up I thought it'd last maybe 6 weeks, but we're somewhere in march now and I'm pretty sure this started in late december. All these delays make it even harder to play as my interests and schedule have changed over such a big period of time.

So here we are. I'm not going to bother playing this game. My opponent is apperantly not really kind, so I wouldn't do it for him. The people posting here have also not been kind, so I wouldn't see why I would waste my time on playing this. Good job guys!

Hey, I can totally understand if you forgot about it. I'm also that kind of guy. But then why didn't you just say that, along with a quick "sorry"? Instead of starting your first sentence in this whole scheduling thread by "3rd place matches are just demotivating"... Which makes you sound like you ignored this thread on purpose.
And yeah the delays are awkward, and we did overreact when you didn't answer for just 3 days. Probably because it's a lot of people not scheduling in a row.
