Connecting to ESO Server

Post by abbadan »

I have no idea why, but as of yesterday I have been unable to connect to the ESO server. The internet runs fine for all other things on my comp, but when I try to get into multiplayer I get a "failed to connect to server" message.
Any ideas of what might cause this or how to troubleshoot it?
Thanks

OK, thanks. I will put all my firewalls back UP! (21)
It's a really long time for them to be down, no?

hey guys, this worked to me, just try :) u need to over write host file this way:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc <--------- go to this folder and edit the "host" file using notepad or something similar, at the bottom simply add "168.61.147.56 eso.com", you will need to edit it using admin privileges to save
Then launch the game and it should work
