Shouldn't i use my laptop without battery?

Well, my battery isn't working as it must be, when i use my laptop unplugged it only resist like 20 mins or so and then it turns off, anyways, i don't need my battery because i don't use my laptop in other places, just in my house, and i use it like if it was a desktop pc. Well, the real question here is if i use my laptop without battery and only plugged it will increase or decrease its performance?, it will avoid that it overheats? if i use my laptop without battery and the electricity turns off it will damage my laptop forever if it turns off too immediately ?

It worked just fine and I really only used it at home. Then I got a new one.

Tbh, laptop batteries aren't that expensive. I myself have bought twice. This 3rd battery now gives my only 30 mins , and i put my laptop on charge 90% of the time. No decrease in performance for me. If, you don't need your laptop anywhere else, its just fine. :)

Batteries from the manufacture are usually about 100$ or so. You can get a third party battery for much cheaper but they're usually shit

If anything it would increase performance because there would be less heat and more airflow in the chassis meaning your cpu and gpu would be less viable to throttle.

I always play without battery in the laptop. I feel like it actually runs better that way.
