can someone help me?
i am not using a router, i am using something more like public wifi provided by university
i could use this wifi to play aoe3 before but now it always shows failed to join game error
can someone help me? thx a lot 0.0

It's definitely up and running, did you manage to create it already? Perhaps you need an e-mail confirmation to activate your account?

If that doesn't work try this, you don't have to create any account. http://www.cyberghostvpn.com/en_gb If you're bored with waiting for the VPN to connect (It takes like 30-45 secs countdown as it is free), you can skip it by a hack trick. https://cheat-engine.en.uptodown.com/windows Download this and open the cyberghost.exe in the application, and select speed hack, put it to max, once you get rid of this countdown, close the cheat engine, you can easily connect the VPN hereafter. It should work now fine without the FTJ error.
Disclaimer: This trick is to just get rid of the count down, not for in game purposes.

BTW I'm guessing the info on failed to join in stickied threads in Tech Support section don't reference using a VPN -- that's a fairly new solution. It should definitely be added there.

guys, how this works ??
me (lived in Cyprus) and my sister (in Greece) we buy aoe 3 C.E. but we cant play online each other or to join on other machs...i dont know what to do... i see lot of people have the same problem with the "Faild to join game" message... and i cant find any solution ://
