Had to port forward a particularly stubborn router and found this:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... ost-an-age
Maybe it has been posted already but I personally didn't know about the overriding port/address and it seems to work where everything else doesn't.
Be sure to also forward the necessary ports in the router settings and firewall.

Re: Failed to join - possible solution
So retardation is a common feature to all italian routers it seems. I honestly just gave up a while ago and started using VPN. I have a bit more latency but at least i didn't lose a year of life unsuccesfully attempting to forward ports. Meh, i might try this solution if i can be bothered someday.

I use the OverrideAddress thing quite a lot, it works sometimes. You can do it quicker than in the user.cfg file by right clicking on the TAD icon > properties > "shortcut" tab, and then at the end of the "target" field adding a space + OverrideAddress="your ip", with the quotes.

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc <--------- go to this folder and edit the "host" file using notepad or something similar, at the bottom simply add "168.61.147.56 eso.com", you will need to edit it using admin privileges to save
Then launch the game and it should work
