Error logging in to ESO

Post by mark1907 »

I have tried numerous times to log in to ESO within AOE3 this evening (for over an hour). I keep getting the following error message.

Failed to retrieve Home Cities:
Request timed out waiting on a
response from ESO.

Is anyone else receiving this error message? Any idea what is causing it? I see there are other players online (http://agecommunity.com/_server_status_/), so I believe the servers are working.

Error logging in to ESO

I tried to login to ESO to play AOE3 this morning (Saturday, 9/26/2015). It worked for about an hour. Then when the game was over, I tried to host a new game. The ESO server was frozen, so I was forced to log out of ESO. Now when I try to connect to ESO, it gives me the following error message:

You have lost your connection to ESO.

Are the servers down? Where can I find current information about the status of the servers? The ESO Server Status link to the left does not seem to relate to my experience using ESO. Perhaps that link is for more than just AOE3.

I have not been able to login to ESO from AOE3 since this problem started this morning. Where can I see the status of the servers? The link on the left does not show the servers are down. But I can't get in to ESO from AOE3. Something must be wrong with the servers.
