can't create ESO account

Hi I guess i m not alone having this problem. I just can't create eso account. the game only gives me "Failed to create account". I never created account before, I bought my game on steam. I have no idea where does it come from.

You do not receive the error number? 101 or something like this.

Try to create account in Vanilla, not on TAD.

No I didn't receive error number. I tried to create account in vanilla, it doesn't work too.

Maybe the account name is already taken

I tested many different account name, still not working.

I uninstall and reinstall the game. then when I click on multiplayer i got new message telling :game installation got a problem. you may need to do again to solve it. But I already reinstall twice and still not working. Then when this message is closed I got a new one telling failed to connect to eso server. Im checking integrity on steam and every time i do it, it's telling me one file couldn't be confirmed and is going to be acquired again.

Ok I figured out. I had the msxml 4.0 error but my game wasn"t in english. So it may not be the cause but once the langage is english, i can read error message.

Did you ever have a disk copy of the game installed on your computer before?

try this:

http://www.agecommunity.com/101.aspx Go to that link and click the scripts link at the bottom of the page. unzip and use the installer. Then the next time you launch the game it will prompt you for a cd key. Enter it and you should be able to create an account

I'm having the same problem. I had my cdkey assigned last night, but I'm unable to create an account, keep getting the 101 error msg. I'll try the solution suggested above once I get home, and see what happens. I'm wondering if this error has to do with their server maintenance which are going beta testing this week.
