Cant connect to ESO (usual solutions not working)

Hello
I recently purchased AOE III complete via steam, but everytime i try to play multiplayer i get the "Not able to connect to ESO" message.
I tried disabling firewall and it was still not working. Then i found on internet that it is sometimes possible to remove AOE from firewall exceptions and then go multiplayer and let the game removing the exception itself.
It worked!!! But....
After two days of enjoying multiplayer. I got this problem again
And no solution is working now
Can you please tell me where this problem could be coming from?

Yes, ESO servers have now beendown since about 16-17 GMT AFAIK.

Where can I find info about current ESO server status? Only information i found somewhere was that it is online...and apparently it isn't

If ESO is up and running, there are usually at least a couple of hunders of people.

recently there has been a new server switch and the transition hasnt been as smooth as we'd like, they have been on and off for the past week, it will hopefully be fixed soon
