Unable to create an account on ESO

Hello there everyone

I'd like to get some help regarding the fact that I'm not able to make an ESO account after getting a gift from steam that included AoE3 the complete collection. As this is a gift, I was thinking I could play it legally, as Steam accepted my key without problems and thought this one was unused. After checking some sources when I noticed that I couldn't make an ESO account, I saw that I got error code 101. This stated that there is only one account possible for one key.

As I have not a single idea of who took my key and made an acount with it, I'd request some help from the community.

This error may happen if you had pirated version of the game before getting the Steam version.
All you have to do is download this official Microsoft script and launch it, it will fix the problem.

you will need to uninstall aoe3 completly, make sure nothing I mean nothing is saved in any folders in C drive

Then install aoe3 from steam, and you should be able to create a new ESO nick

If this dont work you will need to factory reinstall windows

Yes I have. The solution I wrote above should work just fine.
