Unable to launch ESO

Hello everyone,

I just bought and installed Aoe3 a few minutes ago, but I already have issues.

I just can't connect to ESO, with the following message : "Connexion to ESO servers failed".

I checked out some similar posts ( http://www.agecommunity.com/101.aspx )

... but couldn't find a solution to my problem, as the link seems dead.

That link is for 101 error when you can't create an eso account. Connection to ESO servers failed is likely to due the servers being down

-> I cant register on Agecommunity.com, so I can't access ESO

If the servers are down, then I guess I just have to wait...

You have to create your account of the vanilla version of the game. Maybe that's your probelm

That's really weird, perhaps you have the game blocked in your firewall?

Seems like it's your internet problem, check the firewall and if there is no problem - try to use VPN.

Are you playing LAN or via Wifi? In case you play LAN, reconnect your PC with internet. You can also try putting your router on and off.

I am playing on a public wifi (University network in Japan)

However, even though i use a VPN, access to ESO is still denied to me...

I tried to desactivate firewall, but no results

if you dont know both there is no way

since u have bought an other aoe3 u could create a new account .. try

it helped me, I didn't remember neither my nickname nor my password, and I managed to get control over it again
