Continually FTJ
Continually FTJ
Since moving back from college, I am unable to connect to any games. Other's have no problem joining my games, but I can't join anyone's. I have tried turning off the firewall as well as opening ports (I think I was doing it the right way) by following this link http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... es_III.htm
If anyone has some insight I'd love to hear it! Thanks

Just play with China and do the FF. You'll find that you'll always play like a colonel :O
Re: Continually FTJ
Good one, David. It's all master sergeant at this point, haven't played in forever.
Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Like i said in that topic follow the vid. Your router might be a bit different but it'll likely be similar.

Re: Continually FTJ
There are a few soltuions that may work:
1) Turn on UPnP (it's in router settings if it supports it)
2) Do port-forwarding (router settings)
3) If none of the above things work, use VPN. Not all VPNs solve the FTJ problem. I use http://vpntool.com/. It cuts your internet speed but works.

Re: Continually FTJ
I have UPnP turned on, I have opened ports 2300-2310 as well as 80. I don't really have the option of cutting my internet speed since I'm in a house with a bunch of people. Any other thoughts?
Re: Continually FTJ
Yeah, I set a static IP for my computer and used that IP while opening ports.

Re: Continually FTJ
well, I tried port-forwarding too and it did not work for me, so the only solution I see for you (for me too) is to use VPN :/
Re: Continually FTJ
Does that cut the internet speed for just my computer or for the whole network?
