Warchiefs Installation Problems *FIXED*

Every time I go to install the Warchiefs Expansion for AOE 3 I keep getting the following: "Warchiefs cannot install because Age of Empires 3 is not installed for allusers or this user on this computer."

I have already installed the base game and I have tried every other fix for it I can find, but I don't have an allusers folder.

I'm running Windows 10 on an ASUS ROG Gaming Laptop.

Please help, all help is appreciated.

*EDIT* Problem has been solved. A friend of mine who was having the same problem linked me to an installation guide for all three games, including patch files. That helped fix the problem completely. I had only been looking at Warchief Installation Errors/Problems, so I hadn't found this at first. Thanks to everyone who responded and offered their suggestions. :)

Yeah, I've had this copy for like, 3 years. I've been able to install it using the fixes before, but for some reason it just won't work this time.

If you had this game in steam, you wouldn't have this problem.
Anyways, I think you need to do something in the registry.

Yeah, that was the first thing I did. This isn't the first time I've had this problem with this game, but this is the first time that none of the fixes I find work.

Yeah, but I got the base game and both expansions as CDs for a birthday gift, and I can't really afford to buy it off steam right now.

Where in the registry might I have to look to fix this problem? I've already tried adding in a folder for Microsoft Games/Age of Empires III to my C:/ProgramFiles directory, and even to a few other places that the threads I have been looking at have stated will work, but so far no dice.
