Losing connection after game
Losing connection after game
Hey everyone,
So recently I have been playing games all good, no connection issues, my router works constantly even though its wireless. No drops nothing unusual. When the game ends, when I leave it, it gets me back to the main menu telling me 'You have lost your connection to ESO', which is false.
Because of that i lost all achievements from the game.
Any fixes ?
Thanks.

Re: Losing connection after game
Hi, it is not false, it means that the ESO servers themselves have crashed and therefore your results cannot be uploaded to them. There is nothing you can do about this from your side.
Re: Losing connection after game
This is wrong. How could ESO servers crash when I relog seconds later all other games are running fine ? This is really outrageous.
Re: Losing connection after game
This is true.
Re: Losing connection after game
Enough is enough. Its been happening WAY TOO MUCH. The same game in another computer doesnt not do this. Should i reinstall game ?

As I said, this is a server issue. You are not going to fix Microsoft's servers by reinstalling the game any number of times.
Yes, you can usually immediately relog into ESO just fine, because the servers have already recovered from the crash while you were playing. ESO must be up for all the time you are playing a match, otherwise stats will most likely not be uploaded to the server.
These days ESO servers are set to restart automatically when a crash occurs, so the downtime always lasts just a few minutes.

Re: Losing connection after game
I attempted to sign on after being disconnected. The error message asked me to check that I was able to access the internet. I am online obviously and I was able to connect since I just finished a game.
Are the servers offline?
Is the a way to check server status?

Yes, there is a web page: http://www.agecommunity.com/_server_status_/ and you can also download the ESO-Assistant. The servers ARE online, but very few people still on them, maybe we all have the same issue

Thanks. It's been awhile since there has this long a delay in restart. I used to use the green and red dot on the home page but that seems to have gone.
Re: Losing connection after game
Yeah, for the first time since the "restart fix" some sort of a different issue occurred yesterday and ESO was inaccessible for an extended period of time. Now it does seem to be fine again, though.
