ESOC Patch configured to Gameranger

Hi! Fanks Kaiser :) I reinstalled age of empires, I had too. I downloaded the esoc patch and it says..."You can close the launcher, and play from Gameranger as you would normally. If you want to play the original game or to play the ESOC patch (Which I do) on ESO, disable support for Gameranger.

I don't have Gameranger and I went under tools - Set up for gameranger - would you like to configure the ESOC patch to use with ESO? (Yes!) It doesn't work though?

Am I just being really stupid or is this a bug with the esoc patch please.

The message you received merely means that you are able to play on GR. You're not limited to GR, simply launch the launcher with the shortcut generated on your desktop to play on ESO.

This is incorrect. When the launcher is configured to GR you can't launch the game from it, and this guy seems to be stuck on that setting, unable to change it.

try running the launcher as admin and see if you can configure it to ESO then. If that doesn't work either, I'd try uninstalling and running the installer as admin. This is probably a privilege issue.

Strange. If that's the case then I don't know a solution honestly, especially if you don't have GR installed.

Just unistalled reinstalled and still the same problem, tried the run as administrator too. :( I'm not trying to play it on gameranger and I don't have it installed I'm just trying to play on eso on the patch, and I cant..
