I am creating some new terrains atm, but in the scenario editor, they are all the wrong colors. When you create TGA-files, they come in the format "[name].(a,b,c,d)" where a, b, c, and d are numbers. I didn't know what to choose, so I just took the same values as some other map had. However, it's possible that this is not the issue, but instead it's the "mapcolor" attribute of the <subtype> element in "terraintypes.xml" in art3.bar.
I'm certain it's either one, or both that are causing the miscoloring. How do I fix this?

Re: Terrains have the wrong coloring
I would guess A is alpha (transparency) and the others are RGB in order, though idk

How would they be RGB? A terrain isn't just one color. Truevision TGA Wikiepdia page is covering this I think, but I don't follow.

Those values are related to the various options in the DDT Options screen in this plugin:

(Or, alternatively you can just use this plugin to directly save DDTs!)
Guessing these values are not your problem btw.

Are you saying that the values a, b, c, d, and the value of the mapcolor attribute are irrelevant to the miscoloring?

Mapcolor value might be. I was referring to the .(a, b, c, d). in the tga saving.
