Impossible to connect to ESO

Hey guys,

So it's been a loooong time ago that I haven't played Age Of Empires 3. Maybe more than 5 years. I wanted to play again, so I re-installed it. But when I try to connect to ESO, it just doesn't work... I enter my Username and Password, I click OK, but nothing happens. It's like the 'OK' button was not coded. I can spam clic it, it does nothing.

I tried on Vanilla, TWC and TAD, and it's the same problem.

It's not a problem of wrong password, because I tried to do intentionnally failing my password, and it opens a little pop-up window 'INVALID USER/PW' so it's more complex than that...

Anyone got a solution?

Try to disable your firewall and anti-virus completely

Just tried, did not solve the problem.
I also tried to uninstall re-install, but still does not fix it.

I have find an old post I've made when I tried to play 2 years ago (I remembered that I tried to play, but did not remember when I finally did not, now I know... I couldn't connect to ESO lol). Someone told me to disable firewall+antivirus like you did.$
Unfortunately, it does not work.

I will help you Sir_musk... umh , wait, welcome on the forum! Hm, maybe it's just an issue you got because of the version of the game you're using. Did you buy the original game ?

What OS are you on?

Running as admin and in compatibility mode?

PC specs?

Yeah, I bought it.
Well, it's fixed, I don't know how but it's fixed!
I tried again and again, and at some point, it started downloading the patch (which it did not before).
After downloading the update, it worked!

Don't know why the previous times it wasn't checking updates, but whatever..
