CRC Missmatch
Hi guys, I installed TAD on my computer and it works fine on there. I also installed TAD on my laptop using the same CD. Whenever I try to load it, it asks for my to use my CD (idk why) however, the issue is, it shows all games as CRC Missmatch on the laptop itself?
On my computer it's fine... Is there a way to fix this? What's causing this?
Nilla works fine on both laptop and my computer, it's just the problem with TAD...

Main Menu ------> Help and Tools -------> Update Game
Be sure you are playing on the current Patch (1.03)

I have just checked and it is up to date, so that doesn't seem to be the issue? :/

It still definitely sounds like the issue, update servers might be buggy. The latest patch does not require a CD.
Try downloading the patch manually from here: http://agecommunity.com/gameUpdates_yp.aspx

The whole Aoe3 folder in programme files?

Re: CRC Missmatch
A file must be corrupt. Because a CRC mismatch is so vague (like 3 1/0) it can be hard to pinpoint this. It was more efficient back when AoE3 was released, they probably should update it as they can afford to have more bandwidth.
Eaglemut has the best suggestion, but if you try and register your copy with steam (although I think it may only work with the complete edition) you can run an integrity check on the program files. This happens so often with me I don't regret buying it on steam.

Re: CRC Missmatch
So, if you get it work in your computer but not on your laptop, you should use the software called Beyond Compare to find what is the difference between the files on your laptop and on your computer
