mouse problems - freezing etc
mouse problems - freezing etc
these are the kinds of problems my mouse is having:
- sometimes freezes for about a second or less / pc beeps twice, then moves again
- sometimes freezes entirely and wont respond again until I restart pc
- depending on which socket the cord is plugged into, when it freezes, if I take the plug out the comp will shut down (removing mouse > comp shut down)
- I've tried about 10 different things from google. from virus/malware scans, to checking drivers, to uninstalling the mouse etc.
- it's a roccat savu, and there is no win 10 driver for it
and this doesn't only happen with aoe. it hangs/freezes on the desktop, although less frequently. if I aoe, it will perma-freeze within a few minutes, whereas on desktop it will temp-freeze every few mins / couple times an hour

wireless mouses not good for gaming.. the response time is slower also if u run out of batteries in the middle of a game its a pain.
Re: mouse problems - freezing etc
same issue, i just remove the battery and put it back again and it works, its annoying when it happens during games

I have run my mouse for a mount now - still half battery! And SOME wireless mouses are fully compabible! the 602 is (dpi 2500), and the logitech 900 chaos spectrum is the best you could ever get - wireless or not! (the latter one being stupidly expensive now - but it will be cheaper soon)

After looking at the Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum review.. I see its actually a pretty nice mouse not bad. I like that you can actually use it plugged in with the charging cord like a normal mouse and the design is pretty sweet.

When did this start becoming an issue? Was it there when you installed Win10? Does it occur more often in some games or is it the same everywhere?
Could be many things. There not being a driver for Win10 could surely cause this, case in which you should contact Roccat.
Could be a mouse cable problem.
Could be a port issue (USB). Case in which you could do piecemeal uninstallation of each port and restart with the mouse in the port to force the system to reinstall it.
Could be a USB driver issue with Win10 (general issue that many other mice have, but others don't).
Could be KB3140768.
Try with another mouse and see if you get the issue.
If not, it's from the OS or from the motherboard.
PS. Try first looking into the hardware errors log to see if it's being reported. Right click on Start > Event Viewer:
