Yeah port forwarding should always be the first fix that you try. If it doesn't work for some reason I would highly suggest paying for a good VPN instead of using a free one to minimize lag.

I'hv used hide.me enough. Though its free, it reduces the net speed quite a lot which might result in lag, unless you have insane speed. If you want to pay for a good vpn, I'd suggest HideAllip.

i dont think port foward is the first solution to FTJ becuz it always doesnt work so hide.me now none said it didnt work that mean it worked by 100% successful

Port-forwarding may not work in student places, hence a VPN is a nice tool. It can make your game a bit laggier, but mostly from my experience it depends on your general internet speed.

No, It does if your uni firewall doesn't prevent you from accessing game at the first place. All you need to do is get a router and set up the ports, I did this a while back when my uni firewall was broken

No you prolly can not make it perfect, you see in order for the data transmission to be possible over a new ip the packets go to the proxy-server then to the destination server and come back to you. If you dont work on vpn, then its just your destination server and you so the data packets dont have to go to an additional place and thus saving time.

Premium mode can never do this.
