Gameranger and the fanpatch

I realized that you can play over gameranger and over the fanpatch at the same time. This is very nice because you can search for games over gameranger and eso at the same time.

I don't know if I already made this thread and someone deleted it. If so I'm sorry that I made it again and you can delete it again. I just can't remember if I actually posted it.

When I run the patch launcher to see updates, it finds an update and it says "Downloading update", but it never starts to download update.

How do I fix it to get the update?

Did you run it as an administrator?
Also I had to wait at least 1min until it started downloading (update) it.

Yep. I ran it with and without admin. It doesnt work. I waited like 5-10 mins, it just doesnt start.

After few attempts it even started crashing.

Did you try to deactivate your anti-virus. Try it when its running and when its not. Also try a computer restart. Did you watch the video I made ?

Yep. I tried everything. I also watched the video.

try uninstalling and reinstalling it

have you tried running the age3f.exe rather than the launcher? I havent made the launcher work myself either.

In fact it is not really possible to play the EP on GameRanger at the moment (at least, not without doing some tricky things). I''ll be working on that feature soon.
