Itd make them more interesting in that youd want to kinda always hit and run with them, something that suits their 4.5 speed. Would need balancing so that they end up at the same strength as current cassadores.

dont abus guns have 4.5 rof now ? and they have 40 SIEGE DMG sounds quite bad to me having a unit with 26 dmg and 4.5 rof when there is another unit which only slightly more but has like almnost double the dmg and hp of the first one :)

Abus Guns have 3.5 RoF on EP1.0. If I were to make such a change to the Cassador I would make sure to adjust the damage value to a point where the unit is roughly as strong as before.

Also, your Abus Gun comparison could be applied to any RI unit in the game. Im sure youre aware though...

The attack is roughly the same in terms of DPS ' nilla ca?as have 26/4.5 = 5.78 attack/second while tad ca?as have 17/3 = 5.67 attack/second. What can make nilla ca?as seem worse is they have only 10% extra rr while they lose 25 hp out of 110. But with a good micro it doesnt seem to be a problem, if you kite enough

You can't kite forever even with better speed. And shooting so slow is a pain.

It'd at the very least be interesting design that promotes skillful play. Easy to use, hard to master?

Slowing RoF but increasing damage per shot actually makes kiting better, as you have more time to make distance between shots so you can kite much longer while still maximising damage.

As for shooting slowly, that''s just like, your opinion, man.
Seems kinda contradictory to be all for civ diversity but when a chance to increase it just by rolling back a es standardization patch comes up, you''re all like, "nah."
