Naval units balancing?
Monitor was tweaked in ep, what do you guys think do more naval units need nerfs/buffs?

Water will probably be reworked in some future version of the patch. This includes warships.

Yeah warships are too strong vs land units.

Carded frigates don't lose to anything. I don't see how that makes much sense.

Town centre fire, towers, culvs, falcs? Or you mean 1v1 vs other ships?

Ye honestly they only should lose to buildings and artillery. And they kinda do. It takes atleast 2 cards and 2 ups from the dock to make them OP.

Yes... There is no contradiction. I think you are misunderstanding me: Warships should be extremely strong against land units. I just think they shouldn't be uncounterable, which is why artillery in general needs better multipliers against ships so that it properly counters them. On top of that I would also buff the Arsenal improvement that makes artillery and buildings better against ships.
I hope that's more clear.

The arsenal improvement is already pretty efficient. 100% damage increase for 100f 100w and affects buildings+artillery.

The problem is all civs don't have those cards... For example brits have offshore support in age 2, while some civs don't have this card at all

You know, the problem isnt necessarily that its imbalanced or anything, but water play, amd in particular full water play like british can do, is just not much fun in my opinion.
If aoe was only the water play, I would have stopped playing 6 yeard ago probably. Seriously, its not worth my time because its just not enjoyable.

OK, I think those changes are good although I would also make it so that monitors can't use their special shot an artillery since they are also a reason that makes it so you can't fight ships with cannons.
