I just hope DE is not going to implement all of the EP changes. Right now it is a big clusterfuck.

Let's have building rotation, agra fort hotkeys, flare hotkeys and many other bug fixes included into the patch. Let's not veto stuff like that on arbitrary decisions made by a single person, please. :/ those are the sorts of changes which would really improve patch popularity and adoption.

thank you

Just an update on the fix for the China Record Game bug. What I did here was just change the tech to a 10% increase in attack and hitpoints without changing the cost. That makes the tech actually slightly more valuable, since the disciples don't need to be in an aura to have it be active.

The slight nerf the tech will gain from this is that aura's boost current stats not base stats. However this method also "fixes" the bug until another method can be developed. I'd imagine I'd have to basically rebuild the Chinese explorer to see where this bug is occurring.

These bug fixes and quality of life changes will be good advertisement for patch. So, it seems appropriate to fix most of them.

Some of them are to fix what is known as bad show. This is where something appears to be intentionally designed that way, however it looks or performs bad. Things like tomahawks throwing vapor trails, pixelated flags for expansion civs, and missing Agra hotkeys are all things that technically aren't bugs. They should however be things that get fixed and that's why they are included in the list.

I added 173. Many of the new TAD mercenaries are not available at the Saloon.

And 174. Teepees don't effect villager HP.

173 is not a bug though, I'm quite confident considering Chinese, Indians and Japanese all gain access to Iron Troops, Jats and Yojimbo respectively through the "Atonement" shipment.

By the way: War Dance does not affect artillery.

Then the question becomes should dance halls include those 2 other mercs. Standardizes a card but makes it a little bit more useable for Euro civs.

Exactly, bad show or more precise rush job. Missing hotkeys can be called oversight, and should be added(most players add them manually anyway). As for low res flags and vapor trails, it would be quite welcome change from esthetic standpoint. I hope it won't affect overall performance....

IDK... the question becomes not a bug. That's my point at any rate. I meant to say Yojimbo instead of Ronin, by the way; Dance Halls is what gives access to Ronin.

Also, what about War Dance not affecting artillery?

"War Dance Increases the attack of all your land units". Light Cannon is a land unit.

The thing about those four is that they are potentially Industrial-Age mercenaries. Perhaps we should make them (as well as Ronin) generally available but only in Industrial?

Well that would I suppose drop into the balance department.

Still one card gives a TAD civ a 3 unit combo from their Monastary meanwhile Euro civs just get Ronin with a similar card. That or allow Ronin to scale like Hatamoto. Dance Halls is weak when compared to What TAD civs have available. Frankly I like the idea of Dance Halls giving you a 3 unit combo, just with different Mercs.

Not high priority however. Only flagged this as a bug from our Skype convo. Never had a chance to look into it. Looks like you did however. I still feel like there are Mercs missing from the saloon. Like minor Mercs. Could be wrong.

The TAD civilizations get one of those mercenaries with the Atonement shipment each – not all of them.

No, I mean that Chinese get Iron Troops, Indians Jats and Japanese Yojimbos. My bad for being unclear.
