Got it. Again I'd totally look this up but I'm away from the computer. Still any changes to those cards would be balance team issues, so I removed from the list.

Once I'm back I'll check and see if there are any minor mercs not enabled at the saloon. I feel there are a few minor mercs missing.

It's pretty illogical that French native scout can go stealth on winter maps... Is it a bug? :twisted: #noracism

I found a bug : the upgrade from the shaolin tp that gives +25% melee damage to ranged infantry doesn't work in melee mode. For example, a musk has 13 melee attack, in range as in melee mode. With the nat upgrade, they will have 16 melee attack when in normal mode. But if you put them in melee mode, they will still have the old 13 attack. Which kinda sucks, because what's the point of upgrading your melee attack if it doesn't work in melee mode

I'll add and look into fixing that. Thanks for the update.

---EDIT: I tested this and it is working properly. I tested with muskets and their 13 hand attack increased to 16.

Do you mean kaiser isn't correctly reporting this?

Did you really put them in melee mode? Apperantly the damage does get increases, but only when in volley mode, so the damage goes back to 13 when you put them in melee mode. (kinda like with yeomen not working on stagger mode longbows).

The shaolin upgrade does explicitly mention that increases the hand attack of ranged units. So chances are high that they wanted it to work this way actually.

So they wanted ranged units to have more handattack but when putting them in hand attack mode not have them have more hand attack? I doubt it honestly.

Thinking about this, does that indian hand attack card actually work properly then?

Is it a bug that Incendiary Grenades upgrade isn't unlocked in age 2 when AA is sent? Me and @Jerom at least suspect it to be the case.

It's weird that it moves every technology to age 2 except some gren upgrade. Shipping that card because you are going grens, just to get that one upgrade (which is only any effective if you have a lot of grens) isn't even good. What does the card text say about it?

Why? Artillery upgrades are all available in Age 2 despite the fact you can't train in in colonial.

@Jerom , it generally says that the AA card moves later arsenal upgrades to the Colonial Age.

Could be intentional, could not be. It is however weird and inconsistent in how the card is labeled to work. I'll add it to the bug list, but everyone has to keep in mind all "bugs" are subjective, and there are multiple ways to "fix" them, if they require fixing at all.

EDIT: Finally looked into that melee tech from Shaolin and it does indeed not increased there melee attack while in melee mode.

I mean, it's unclear on whether it should move the grenadier upgrade to colonial aswell. I'd like to say it should :p

It should, there's really no point in having this particular upgrade not moved to age 2. Therefore it's a bug IMO and it should be fixed.

I don't think it would really hurt having this in colonial. It is a balance team discussion though.
