If elo doesn't get fixed i doubt we will see new version of ep. Potential transition to Voobly will be hard and more players will fall off, so put your expectations to minimum.
Re: Have you stopped working on ESOC patch?
I haven't played on patch since October, can't even launch it.
Re: Have you stopped working on ESOC patch?
Why can't you launch the patch? What errors do you get?

Why would you be so negative just because elo doesn't work? The servers are still working and so is the ingame ranking system. Sure elo is nice, but it isn't that important. Besides, it hasn't been more than a week since it stopped working, what make you think it won't be fixed?

A new version of EP is already in the works and I doubt ELO has any effect on its development whatsoever. I also highly doubt that a voobly transition is something that would happen just because of broken ELO. Unless ESO shuts down completely or somehow becomes mostly unusable, a transition to voobly would mean a massive split of the playerbase and would be very detrimental to the game and community at large. Also, note that MS is already working on fixing the stats.

Re: Have you stopped working on ESOC patch?

Isn't Buckethead and co. developing an enhanced ELO-based ladder system?Atomiswave wrote:Dsy wrote:No balance update since a long time.

Yes. However, do note that it is gathering data in the same manner as JP ELO, and is therefore facing the exact same issue right now.

You write in every thread which is linked with the future development of AOE3 about some strange voobly transition. Probably you just want people to play on voobly even though I do not see any reason to do so.
