50000 jobs and 5 billion USD in investment are on the line today as it is deadline day for cities to submit proposals for Amazon HQ2.

Amazon (a huge corporation primarily known for its online store and server business) is building a secondary headquarters somewhere in the US, and cities are competing to determine where it gets built. Many high paying jobs will be created there so everyone wants it.
