Collegiate Age of Empires 3 League

Hello,

I was thinking about starting an AOE3 league amongst the ESOC players that currently are in college. Would anyone be interested?

The main idea behind this is to make AOE3's community more amicable, and maybe spread the game around the gaming communities in our colleges.

I will be meeting with the RTS club at my college and will see if anyone plays the game.

You'd be surprised by the fact how many people have played the game, instead of the ones that are playing it now.

Well, no one plays in my college either, so why don't we set it up? Lets make a poll or google doc so that you just put your school and your name. Then we just play on a weekly basis...

most schools have league clubs, I'd look into playing league and joining a league club instead

My school doesn't officially have a league club. And no one seems to play AOE.

So, let me rephrase, I was just thinking in maybe uniting some college people in the U.S and play AOE3, but it can be expanded.

Curse college for making scheduling impossible for me.

I can tell you there are at least two people who have played AOE3 at my college. One is me, and one is my cousin who I forced into playing 2 or 3 multiplayer matches last year. So, uh, progress?

Now to the point of this thread, would it be better if we did a collegiate tourney instead of a league?
