I think because of how many cards there are it's difficult to have intuitive hotkeys. Having to press 2 keys makes it a bit awkward for me.

I'd totally like to preselect my next shipment before it's available though, and have it sent automatically when i have enoug .....

Well maybe in real life most civs went for FFs but don't stop me from rushing and booming in-game just because they go full FF IRL

Chess has explicit rules while aoe3 does not, so your comparison is faulty.

Re: smurfs are ruining the game

I have the opposite problem. I've played on one single account for more than 10 years but people still call me smurf.

I play very rarely and sometimes ESO resets "number of games played" to 0. And rank always decays to 25, so my win percent can go to 100% very easily and people assume I'm .....

Yes but it needs to capture the full url including querystrings, and handle http/https/www/not www from the old domain without "too many redirects" issue. That's possible, but have to remember to test it every once in a .....

Re: ESOC Rebranding

ESOC started very small and at that time I don't think anybody expected it to grow as much as it have.

I pushed for a different name, more related to aoe3, in the early days, but people were already worried about SEO and too much work to change the name. Now the work to do it is enormous! You need t .....

Re: the patch and all of the changes it has gone trough

If there were big changes in the official patches I really wouldn't mind, but in an unofficial patch it really turns me off. I don't always want to use EP, and it doesn't take many differences for me to get confused when switching patches.

First of all I want to highlight something: Balance at rank .....

I think it's better to just keep them banned.

The dream:

Re: Would ESOC have been better off if they banned the trolls?

I think it's an interesting question, the strictness of moderation and how it affects the community. Personally I prefer pretty strict moderation.

I think once a community exists it is hard to change the strictness, because you already attracted an audience (and posters) that likes or at least accep .....

Re: Fixed and mirrored maps

If maps are fixed I think it's better to have the map already explored because I rather favor adaption skills over memory. I kind of dislike the fact that you can go straight into the fog to build a TP or get a good treasure just because you played the map before (this is already the case anyway). P .....

Re: Pull" Trick" discussion

You can't remove it without major redesign.

I'm pretty sure it exists to help pathing, not to do long distance pull tricks.

Imagine you walk 30 units and they're formed like a square. Now turn slightly left while walking. Every single unit to the right would fall behind due to longer distance, and th .....
