One tactic I always suspected bouncers of using is when they want to keep an entire group out, they'll single out one member and tell them they can't enter, giving whatever made-up reason to justify it. This switches the focus off them somewhat, easing the chances of confrontation. And I imagine it' .....

Organ guns are meant to be anti-inf not all round artillery. They're better than falcs vs inf but worse vs buildings and .....

Also I kind of like the organ gun idea - but isn't the primary issue that they get destroyed by falcs? Would an extra organ prevent that?

Agree with somppu. Consider the bonuses that China and Japan get with their age 3 wonders. How does a 5 second no-movement ceasefire measure up to that? Sounds utterly inconsequential.

Is 5/5 possible doing every step of the build order asap? Even with a great start I could only ever get like 5/3 at best. Are you supposed to delay building the rax/stable or delay queuing the first unit or something?

Probably wasn't the first game, but my first online memory is getting carried hard in a 2v2 by some guy spamming Gendarmes. I had absolutely zero notion of the counter system so I was making nothing but skirmishers as Germany because you can't go wrong with a civ's basic gunpowder unit, right? I eve .....
