Re: Aztec 10 WP semi-FF
A common mistake Aztec players make is not putting villagers onto the firepit for attack dance for crucial battles. 10 WP is 21% attack boost, add 15 villagers and it jumps to 38%. For key battles that extra 17% can make all the difference.

Taj Mahal could function as a second consulate. Allowing India to have two alliances.
If this is not possible, Taj Mahal could double the consulate bonus. Ex. British would go from 5% hp to 10%.

Re: Has life been more interesting during the pandemic?
Pandemics are bad Wrong, pandemics are great and everyone should live to experience at least 2 . That's clever. Pandemics happen about once every 100 years, so those people will live at least 100 years. I wonder how many others realized you were saying it would be great if everyone lived a long time.

Trump and congress are in negotiations, they will spend days arguing about minor points that are unrelated to checks being sent out. Filtering by income won't be the delay, the arguing over minor points is what will push things back.

Trump is planning to give it to everyone making less than a million anyway, so filtering is going to happen.

I'm not just suggesting unemployment insurance be given out. Giving checks out is fine, just don't give it to people making more than 100k a year. Instead of 1k for every single person, 1.5k could be given out to people making under 100k. Means testing is bad, and I can give you a real life scenari...

Re: Have you bought copious amounts of food with a long shelf life and did you pay attention to avoid any potential nutr
Chances are good that most people will get the virus, or close to half. The key is to be extra careful to avoid it over the next couple months. The health care system will be overrun over the next couple months and the death rate could be 500% higher during that period than after the spike goes down...

Re: COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak
I don't think people understood my post. I suggest people whose incomes go way down or unemployed get more money than proposed and people whose incomes are good and not impacted don't get more. This means people who need money, get more than suggested and those who don't need any and won't use extra...

Even if a couple million people lose their jobs, the big majority of people still have jobs, most of those people won't be going outside to spend the extra money. This means most of the money will be wasted. No sense giving money to people who won't spend it. Instead support should go to businesses ...

25% of the population is huge, that is 82 million Americans. 16 million Brits. Some people will get a lot more exposure to others and these ones will be most likely to get the virus and then spread it to lots of people. These are people whose job it is to interact with lots of people. Health care wo...

Re: COVID-19 / Coronavirus Outbreak
But what do we need to do to stop it? Stopping it is not a proven method, it's not being stopped anywhere at the moment is it? I think it's doable by flattening the curve. But that takes either the development of a functional medicin (to actually bring down the ICU time and the ICU percentage) or v...

What’s your point? Money is overrated as an impact on races, at least on things that get so much attention like a presidential primary The media cites that candidates who raise more money almost always win elections, but special interest give money to whoever is most likely to win. Money doesn't ca...
