Oh the actual name on the menu is probably just “quarter pounder” but since I like meat too (cuz I’m ‘murican), I get double patty. Hence “double quarter pounder.”

I was talking about other options as well not just burgers, but if you like burgers and there are only two burger joints nearby, I guess .....

I don’t think I’ve ever had a big mac, delivered or not. I usually get a double quarter pounder when I go to McDonald’s, which isn’t often. There has to be a better alternative than McDonald’s pretty much anywhere though.

Reminds me of a Chinese allegory/idiom (五十步百步) about two soldiers who ran from the battefield. One fled 50 ft, the other 100 ft. The deserter that “only” fled 50 ft hypocritically denounced the one who fled further as a coward. The moral of the story is that they are essentially the same. I gue .....
