Problem is that you have nothing vs his skirms. Even just 15 skirms or so +8 skirm shipment are really annoying. Also, can't really use 2 falcs or skirms yourself to deal with his skirms if he z-moves you with 40 CC RE vet uhlans.

Re: Recorded game analysis

He does mostly uhlans vs France.

Also, you can add a foundry yourself if you kill his first push or if you scout a foundry in his base. You will have more cannons bc 2 falcs.

Never seen him use jaegers, but they're not that useful if you have falcs.

Re: Recorded game analysis

As I said, a meatshield helps. Try halbs, seriously. With defendees advantage, protected falcs and MM you should hold.

Halbs generally aren't horrible, they only suck because they're slow and get sniped by skirms. But Greatscythe doesn't have many skirms (and you have falcs) and his micro is average .....

Re: Recorded game analysis

GS' build is a bit difficult to beat if you don't have good micro (also, he lags). I wouldn't recommend playing age2 and I also don't think classic skirm/goon is the best (again, unless you have good micro).

What seems to work pretty well is essentially (if he goes for like a 2 tp straight FF into gr .....

Just always say gg and leave the game immediately.

Only exception: cheating or really BM, then just quit right away.

Yeah, that's all fine, I'm just saying maybe the map needs to be explored more. For a long time, people didn't know the importance of tps after all.

Re: new map

Do we know that for sure? I mean, sometimes meta and maps need time to develop. Not too long ago, Sioux vs Otto was considered like this:

Otto can basically only do double rax jans, but if Sioux gets to RR, Otto is dead.

Now, people go CA/Abus (and that has only been a common thing for like 1-2 years) .....

Re: New AoE3:DE Trailer Released

This Vikings game fucking sucks. I understand that people use it for aoe3 sponsoring and that's fine enough.

But FTP games, especially rather low budget, also mobile ones, are usually quite low quality and also aim to get teens spending too much money on useless shit (skins, upgrades, pay to win etc) .....

28, played aoe3 from 15-17 until 2008. Now I mostly just watch it because I have a job and gf (no flex) so I can't justify playing more than like 1-2 games a day at most, meaning I just can't compete.

Re: Announcing iNcog's Empire Cup 2!

All I'm saying is that it seems silly to ban someone forever for this. Yes, it was a big mistake, but where do you go from there?

At least put some sort of clear condition or end date on it and be done with it.

Re: Announcing iNcog's Empire Cup 2!

It just seems silly to ban someone seemingly forever for one offense when even actual moesbar cheaters have gotten second chances.

At least there should be some kind of time limit to the ban. The community is small enough as it is and neither of them has afaik ever done anything wrong aside from that .....

I feel like Jap has a tough MU vs China. Usually Jap wants to go greedy or age 3 vs China, but that does pretty poorly vs an aggro FF as Kynesie did here. If Japan FFs as well, it's just too slow. Usually this doesn't matter because most Chinese players don't play the aggro style (skirm wonde .....

Re: Greatscythe11 is fascinating

GS basically wins by massing a crazy amount of Ger units in early-mid age3, utilizing free uhlans and crate shipments, and using a china-style approach of having a deathball of units, with a few dopps mixed in to help vs other hand cav, goons and just overall area damage output. Sometimes (eg vs Jap .....
