I would want a patch with a significant rework of the aztecs unit composition and a good aggro option for Portugal (with a nerf to their +5% food gather rate to compensate).

A possibility would be to make their mercs cost half gold, half food. That would solve their composition issues and they could be balanced around that.

Aztecs would be diarouga or Garja. India would be tit I guess ?
Kynesie also has a good claim at Ports and Japan.

Germany is Kaiserklein obviously and Russia is Hazza5413.

It's a nice BO but I have two issues with it :
1) Naginata are a very good unit, but don't they lose cav fights against hussars (at least in age 2) ? That would be a serious issue with any kind of cav-semi-ff play. Two batches of ashis may be just better at raiding than one batch of nagis too.

I think skills translate quite well if you really try to learn the game - i.e. Viper could spend a couple hour learning Russia (basic BO + a handful of practice game) and would be able to play at a much higher level than what he did. Focused learning and practice will allow for quick progress for pe .....

If they are going for water you need to pressure both on water and on land at the same time - don't let him get away with his water boom.
As brits, your land boom is faster than his water boom, so you will have a window where you have just more eco than he has (remember that every warships he trains .....
