Re: What's aoe2 like?

AoE2, SCBW and SC2 have all survived and recently grown because they are great games. Games like AoE3 have continued to die because they aren't. It has nothing to do with graphics, time it was made or released, etc... AoE3 has many things that could allow it to become a great game and even a unique ...

Re: UI 2.3 Suggestions thread

UI somehow scales the replay speed so that it runs at a normal rate rather than based on how fast your computer processes.

This ladder is much harder to exploit than the JP ladder, simply based on the formula used.

Re: where are we now, in case of ww3

I'm just saying that the summit marks a major deescalation that significantly reduces the likelihood of war in the near future And where did the likelihood of war come from? It’s like threatening to kill you, then going for a beer and saying let’s be friends. Then going to brag I am awesome bc I de...

Re: [EP] retummy vs. CHATIMENTS

that was when sioux was shit and dutch had 5banks at 350f 300w That's insane how you can always find excuses xD. Before this you claimed that Sioux was a good civ, better than Dutch and you used to go full garja and tell me that it was true from experience, by design etc. And actually after the 1st...

Re: Town Center Design Sucks

It this true that not all civs have same booming options or same options in general, but that's exactly the cool thing about this game. Also it is a matter of number of civs. Within each expansion civs ar relatively similar in available options How is that a cool thing? It means that when you play ...

Re: Town Center Design Sucks

This is beating a dead horse, but have you considered how these problems with the TC are a symptom of an overly greedy meta? Too easy to defend? Wouldnt be so if there were fewer natural resources! No booming options? If the meta wasnt full greedy there would be meaningful booming decisions! If the...

Town Center Design Sucks

Town Center Design Sucks..............and is one reason that AoE3 quickly transitions into a very stale metagame even with various changes to units and unit design. Why? Because the lack of being able to rapidly expand your economy leads to less comeback potential and severely limits variations in e...

Re: demarcus cousins signed with the warriors?!?!?!

He's coming off the worst possible injury for a NBA player, and since he's one of the largest individuals in the league, it will be even harder for him to come back.
If he plays before March at a league average level, I would be shocked.

The number one reason I hardly ever (read never) play AOE3 is because I can't get a QS game on EP. So I play Sc2 even though I would rather play AOE.

Depends, do you think Delores is part of Ford's story or truely woke? Does Ford want Hale dead? Who the fuck is the cowboy owner? You mean William? He's clearly a host human like Bernarnold. Also, not all the confederados got stat boosted, just awoken from the dead. Seems like only Teddy and her Wya...

I don't think that Delos security is anticipating hosts with their skills turned to the max. They are basically fighting superhumans, they should get demolished. Plus they are likely arrogant private contractor types who think they are invincible. For the seduction in the CR4DL, they said they can't...

Re: Janus v AFSCME

I agree, the conservative court is likely to rule in favor of Janus and the consequences could be massive. Likely it will be the death of unions in the US as the public sector union is the only stronghold remaining.
