The main time this is annoying is when I play Russia and am spamming strellets. I can have 50 Gendarmes in a control group but not 51 strellets? It is very easy as russia to go over this limit.
I would be interested in seeing it pop based at say 80ish population

I used to just build with 1 vill with Dutch as I assumed it did not matter. Will certainly change my play going forward. . .

Going right from your post I would recommend Germans. A 5 (really 9 with the shipments) uhlan semi-ff works in almost every matchup so a great civ to practice just one build and really nail it. Also a strong civ overall. . .

So we all know that a well micro'ed unit can be significantly more effective than a poorly (or non) micro'ed one, but exactly HOW much better can a unit become with good micro. For example a skirm gains a lot more from micro than a jan does. Given this, what would you say the increase in value " .....
