The root of all evil is adding stuff to make it cluttered and not adding stuff to make it clean.
I get the concept behind it but they could've reached their goal with less coding work and more drafting work.

TLDR: Osmane>all Native/African are unplayable now. Natives are fairly good. Hausa is probably playable. Ethiopia trashed again: those global nerfs actually make it harder playing strategies other than the cheesy ones. I've never played outlaw or native rush, but then my randomized/ situational BO ...

I'm still confused on why "competitive maps" do not mean "ranked maps".iron_turtle wrote: ↑21 Sep 2022, 11:32Yeah, all the maps in standard map set are used for ranked games.
There are pretty shitty maps in the competitive pool. The devs should take a look at that...

these 10 infinite age 4 goons for 1000f sound like the real bonus to haud. makes going age 4 even more versatile. a weakness was always that once you run out of tomahawk shipments and big buttons its a little hard to switch to musket rider production if you need strong anti cav but now with this ca...

There are some things I like, some things I don't, like in any other patch. But there is one single thing I believe some devs have crossed the border and under no circumstance it should have gone that way: AOE3DE is becoming much more inclined as a MOBA game. I hate this. Every patch there is one or...

Is a change in deck management planned (in the distant and distant future)? Example possible to rename a deck or change the arrangement of the decks using two arrows to make the decks go up or down? It sounds silly but for those who play both team and 1v1 and have for example 6 team decks and 12 1v...

Best way would be to go to the tournament tab and then the bracket and click on each match. It will show you the MU for each game and you can download from there. Those games use to go to the recorded game search section, but I don't know if it's been updated with the latest patch yet. There you wo...

Is there anyone tracking the matches? I'd like to watch VODS from a few civs/ watch on ESOC.tv. Considerign there are several matches I think that hovering civs instead of matches/ players would be nice (what civ was played in what round) but it's troublesome doing that until the final matches. I'm ...

Fast forward for today: These armored pistoleers are insane, their stats alone when compared to legacy mercs is out of bounds: 60% armor, 660 HP + deflect ability for just 250c...their offensive stats are also nothing to be shy about There is a tech that delivers Black Riders and these musketeers as...

Yes, it's probably the best rework/review so far! They've been revamped but they retained their "origins" and I do think they are definitely stronger than before, powerful but not oppressively OP. They did gain in some ways and lost in others. I'm actually bumped because Siege Dance is rea...

I'm suprised teepees were buffed to 12.5% but they did nothing about Great Hunter: It's basically a 20% buff right now, but the issue is that Age 2 slots are saved for crucial cards. Right now, Furrier, an AGE 1 card feels much more attractive than Great Hunter. FURRIER Villagers gather from huntabl...

The native lore is for that 1500 gold tech thag gave random mercenary in one of the new maps. I think Europe map. Basically it was an auto win for Spain. Do FF with halbs from church and send those FREE mercenary as well. You had all this units by like 7 or 8 mins plus the 2 falcs. (Saw it done mul...

Re: 3 Vil Shipment harms Strategy diversity
Best idea would've been just replacing the 3/4 vills cards by vil+ something (building, perk, crate, unit). That way you would make everything nearly equal to everyone and not run away far too much from where we are now. Plus we would be able to kill several useless age 1 cards (that would be nerfed...

Re: 3 Vil Shipment harms Strategy diversity
It is true, it harms diversity. But as KaiserKlein said, there would be a need to re-work/rebalance most of the first shipments and by the pace of balance patches Legacy civilizations would be under under a hurricane for a year or so. The best opportunity to address it has been gone: the release of ...

A bunch of small good changes overall, rather better than the crazyness of the previous updates. Considering they were busy weith the final touchs of KOTM I'm not surprised there was no big update, but I had hoped for a review of another European civ that was in need of more possibilities than Brit...

Re: [Multiverse of AOE3]If you were a dev what would you have changed to make D.E. more popular??
Idk why people hated the HC and cards. It's similar to how in LoL you go to a shop and buy items once you have enough gold. It's an intuitive idea that you boost your unit's stats by getting items (in this case, cards). Not really man. Not really. It looks easy for us who are playing over a decade....
