Re: Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition – Update 13.12327
I'm suprised teepees were buffed to 12.5% but they did nothing about Great Hunter: It's basically a 20% buff right now, but the issue is that Age 2 slots are saved for crucial cards. Right now, Furrier, an AGE 1 card feels much more attractive than Great Hunter. FURRIER Villagers gather from huntabl...

Re: Update 13.10442
The native lore is for that 1500 gold tech thag gave random mercenary in one of the new maps. I think Europe map. Basically it was an auto win for Spain. Do FF with halbs from church and send those FREE mercenary as well. You had all this units by like 7 or 8 mins plus the 2 falcs. (Saw it done mul...

Re: 3 Vil Shipment harms Strategy diversity
Best idea would've been just replacing the 3/4 vills cards by vil+ something (building, perk, crate, unit). That way you would make everything nearly equal to everyone and not run away far too much from where we are now. Plus we would be able to kill several useless age 1 cards (that would be nerfed...

Re: 3 Vil Shipment harms Strategy diversity
It is true, it harms diversity. But as KaiserKlein said, there would be a need to re-work/rebalance most of the first shipments and by the pace of balance patches Legacy civilizations would be under under a hurricane for a year or so. The best opportunity to address it has been gone: the release of ...

Re: Public Update Preview (PUP) - May Update
A bunch of small good changes overall, rather better than the crazyness of the previous updates. Considering they were busy weith the final touchs of KOTM I'm not surprised there was no big update, but I had hoped for a review of another European civ that was in need of more possibilities than Brit...

Idk why people hated the HC and cards. It's similar to how in LoL you go to a shop and buy items once you have enough gold. It's an intuitive idea that you boost your unit's stats by getting items (in this case, cards). Not really man. Not really. It looks easy for us who are playing over a decade....

Re: Italy & Malta 2 New civs coming May 26th
DLC also adds ton of other stuff like new maps and "natives". Feels overwhelming even for those who actually play the game on daily basis. I guess that's the dev intent. Anyway, I did preorder it, looks fun  This will be my favorite/second favorite DLC! Lots of new stuff but it fee...

* I had to uninstall the game due motherboard issues. I may download it again but I'll wait for the hotfix of this update because it's so annoying how the game reinstalls everything from the ground up with every single patch. * Now: I like the fact they are making justice to most of the wishes from ...

Inspired by a comment made by Len3a about popularity and one comment I read here, in the Redbull post. According to one of the orginal developers, fans were not so fond of some of the 66% new stuff so: If you could go back in time with the knowledge you have now (had the budget and green light from ...

Re: Let’s try to get AoE3 to the redbull!
Not to be too pessimistic, but people generally consider aoeII and aoeIV when discussing age franchise. I see lots of forum and reddit posts about which age game they like, and no one mentions aoe3. It is all about aoe2 and aoe4. Even aoe1 gets mentioned sometimes. [*]We've always been the black sh...

Re: So it's Italy after all. Any thoughts?
This is good. I am trying to get back into the game and there is no better way to do so than to play an overpowered civilization. I've got a feeling it's probably going to be fine and it will mostly be a matter of tweaking down numbers. The only thing I fear are the 4.5 speed ranged infantry and th...

Looks like a Mediterranean civilization like Ports, Spanish and Ottomans.
Apparently Elmeti will become their unit(?) Shame, I really liked that unit as Merc when I started playing AOE3.

I'll try out this build. I feel they are rich in possibilities but I can't quite figure it out which ones are the best ones.

Ok. Can someone help me? I have no idea what's the standard build order because I rarely see people playing.Furthermore I still feel that Africans are not as popular as Legacy and D.E ( up to USA). So this is what I do: I keep training bills and sell a cow to build a house and use the hunting upgrad...

Re: AOE3 - Public Update Preview - April Update
Differently from Aztecs, Brits and Inca these cards feel completely random. And for some reason I'm not really excited.
But anyway: I welcome these changes because people have been asking for an update to the europeans. Nice seeing the developers have this commitment.

Wait, if roger rangers is now age2, that means brits can have a ridiculous diverse army comp at early stages of the game, India entered the chat. I mean, they could revamp more than just one civ in a patch, or at least not the one that's good at everything and has 15+ years of stability. I do agree...
