Re: Asian politics
u2012 and my point is precisely that siding with west over this war is ridiculous. Lets for a moment assume west as Ukraine ally and China as Russia ally which are parties with say direct vested interests. Most of the rest of the world which little to no interest in the war and ar...

Re: Asian politics
What is the purpose of posting all these articles when in principle you side with countries and leaders who are responsible for this? Are you suggesting Trump was responsible for Iraq? US? Europe? Answer the question: is a country to blame for past decisions taken by an administration or does the b...

Even if you take them at their word that they believe it's a mental health issue not a gun issue, Republicans still cut funding for all healthcare all the time so it seems fair to describe them objectively as being pro mass shooting The idea that this is a mental health issue is ridiculous. The pro...

From what I've seen/read JD is winning the publicity war, which is the only one that really matters here. How is the publicity war that only matters here? If he loses he has to pay upto 100$m and that is no small amount. That is like 2/3-3/4th of his entire net worth according to forbes. If he lose...

anyway yeah i guess u would have to dissolve the union in order to enact the necessary legislations to even begin to curb shootings of this degree. so yeah maybe they are impossible to stop. on the bright side the dissolution of the united states coincides with the possibility of a world liberated ...

Re: Mass Shootings are impossible to prevent thread
Well, people who have guns which are reasonably accessible to underage people say 25 is threshold (arbitrarily saying). In such a scenario the people who own guns should also be tried for murder. For ex. If a teenager can easily access a gun then as a member of society, gun owner, and parent they ha...

Classic goodspeed and duckzilla. Will through out an opinion/assumption as fact and when asked for proof will cower. GS also did the same thing during that abortion discussion when he posted some not so thought out suggestions and then fails to elaborate them.

Idk whether its enforced or not but you are definitely expected to buy something, may it be even a $ in exchange for using washrooms in private places. Of course big stores like mcd or walmart won't care but if it is your local cafe or shop the expectation is there.

It's not just that. Reacting by taking it as a compliment when someone calls you crazy and comparing oneself with a small number of geniuses are signs of a mental disorder by themselves. The corresponding individual is likely to have lost the ability to evaluate the appropriateness of his/her behav...

Russia Ukraine? Don't you read news. I am pretty sure that was a work by Putin. He and Ukraine both got played by US and to a lesser extent by UK. There is simply to much circumstantial and logical evidence to ignore that this in fact was US's doing all along. Carefully think about all the ...

Russia is only losing as along as Putin allows. If he decides to go nuclear the worst/best(depending on your alignment) case scenario is a draw or stalemate.

Re: US Politics Megathread
I have a simple question. If it is proven in time that life begins at conception (although many studies already suggest it does, but say in time beyond doubt) would people who are pro-abortion at the moment till some x week be against it? Or that it is proven that life begins ~at week x would peopl...

Could be. Tho this journo who broke the story used to write reports exposing NATO illegal arms sales, so maybe there is some truth to this information that some in Putin's circle are starting to fret Sure they are! Well not exactly a tv series but those who like courtroom, lawyer stuff should watch takedown of Jodi Arias on youtube. It is nothing short of a series/movie!
