Re: ZP: The Zoi Patch

The problem with messenger change is that it nerfs aztec fast age to colonial, that's not necessary really. "– "The Exiled Prince” & Fortress Age "The Messenger" councils train-points increased from 40 to 50" R u sure? fortress age the messenger was never 40 sec iirc. I...

Re: ZP: The Zoi Patch

ep shouldve been bugfixing and mapfixing. With perhaps at most 10 broken techs or cards in the game (aka slightly tweak old han, abus stats or iro start crates etc.) The rest was just totally unnessecary. And even that maybe a step too far already, as you just start a neverending cycle of changes. S...

Re: ZP: The Zoi Patch

i doubt it. nerfing fast age means you go colonial, or still fast age but you are slower and thus weaker. there is no reason that it will be replaced by a slow age 3 politician

Re: Sunday Smackdown #01 Premiering NOW!

Casting from recs is fine, premiering on youtube is meh. Lack of chat does take away some of the fun, for me at least. Cool experiment. I think age2 starts are kinda fun, but it also seems to me that it makes the game even more unbalanced than it already is. A cheaper age up cost to colonial and thu...

Re: Portuguese( And Indian ) Discovery Age Shipments.

Thats possible too, but gfa is a substitute for 600c but instead you get 1v earlier. Its greedier as you get 500c 500w instead of just 600c, but your big trickle is later. I guess in the end the difference is small

Re: Sioux Discussion Thread

The rule for no snare is when you have 2 units in age1. I don't think there is much to do with the Sioux WC at the moment. Japanese explorers snare right? And so does the Chinese one? And so does the dutch and french explorer right? The only two units that dont snare are the Indian monks I believe....

Re: The problem with walls

From a viewers perspective, games with walls can be quite interesting to watch. IMO. I disagree strongly. I didn't watch the finals of last tournament because Kynesie played in them. That's unfortunate. It was the best finals since the first tournament H2O vs BS. Perhaps in the sense that it was th...

Re: Portuguese( And Indian ) Discovery Age Shipments.

Best india age1 = start tp, send distributism, then send good faith agreements, you should have 1-2 shipments ready in age2. Send 300export. Vs a rush you can ally ottomans, go quick 3 huss, and mm if needed, or 4v otherwise. Vs boom. Go fre, send 500c 500w. Then ally with otto, send 4v, then ally b...

Re: Who needs cows more?

India for first 8mins then china or jap, thats actually a big difference for jap eco for livestock on shrines, its like 0.5 to 0.76 or stm and thats per shrine per second Tbh you can just give them to a non japan ally, let them fatten, eat them, then spend a small percentage of that food on sheep a...

Re: The problem with walls

I think the core of the problem ultimately is how cheap walls are. The rest of the problems are just side effects. I disagree. I think the low wood cost is fine and promotes strategic wall placements. A build time increase is indirectly a cost increase without punishing a few well placed walls vs r...
