Re: Art of War Gold Medal Bragging Thread
Also got it after a few tries for the treasure, build order, early defense and land battle ones. I was not sure to be able to complete them all when I saw pro players comments here but every time I failed a challenge I told myself "OK it's actually doable but I don't knwo how many rounds I will...

Re: DLC Cancelled
Idk if this is a piece of good or bad news for the game. New civs aren't necessarily good or well designed, Mexico for example is terrible in every possible way (its coexistence with the Aztecs, its units, multiple revolts with absurd eco bonuses, even the flag)... and Danish plus Poles coming would...

Re: When games lose connection, strangely
This is weird, sometimes I lose connection as well but I get reconnected quickly. If it is only when you win games, it looks obviously suspicious, but I don't know if a cheater can disconnect you and not lose elo.

Re: ESO problems
I dont know, my Game is the standard Version from 2005. Is this also finished online? Ty for your help Yes, 2007 refers to the release date of the complete collection including Warchiefs and Asian Dynasties; the corresponding base game, which used the same ESO service, released in 2005. It may stil...

Re: New MU of the Week: France vs. Haud/Iro
I'm noob so I don't have any answer. But why does Kevin say "hauds is just faster with better units" ? which Iro units are better than France's ones, except Forest Prowlers ?
Also, how should Iro defend against vet musk + falcs ?

Re: King of The Hill Tourney?
Yes the games can be decided by almost nothing... you must also adapt to the number of players becuase the clock also adapts... it is really interesting, I also remember one back in 2015 or so when u13 won with an abus gun cavalry archer combo and lost almost 0 unit (all other pla...

King of the hill is unfortunately underplayed and most players don't even know what it is even though it's so fun
! With a few friends we played the last KOTH FFAs of ESO one day before close down and some people literally discoved the game mode but we had exciting games !

...the future ? still, the comparison with ESO is harshRe: DE meta
DE online interface is very frustrating when you know ESO, it is hard to use and you can't do as many things as you could with ESO. Ports do have 3 organs guns for 300 :coin: but no mamelukes anymore  (reference to your guide "thanks God for Mamelukes" :flowers: ) they also have a &q...

Re: HowlingWolfPaw's Wall stratedgies for FFA (all modes apply)
Thanks howlingwolfpaw for your work on FFA theory and the love for this game mode :flowers: . FFA can be rich and surprising, it allows incredible builds and histories. Even though my playstyle in FFA is different from yours as I don't play FFA to win the entire game, we've played several FFAs toget...

Quite controversial, but I think it is necessary, however at least once a year it would be nice to see a legacy tournament I agree, I don't know whether it is even controversial. But it would be on Gameranger or Voobly now... Legacy tournament refers to playing in "Age of empires 3DE" Wit...

Re: The Future...
what you'll find is that it's probably not really fun when it's just a race to lame the dumbest build that's too strong. aoe3 always had a delicate balance and that was thrown out the window entirely with DE. kaiser, good players, etc. would still probably beat a shitty player laming stupid strateg...

Hello everyone ! After playing from 2014 to 2020 I had a truebreak from AoE III and now I'm just discovering DE, trying to play Ports without Mamelukes)(but with 3 organs shipment :coin: )(and so many other things)(too many civs and cards and units and Natives and weird abilities I will never be abl...

I've used the build a few times and it worked surprisingly well. But I'm not a pro player and this was years ago on Legacy AoE3

Re: If aoe3 units were chess pieces
Pawn - Settler: smol but important and it makes sense that they can be "promoted" to military units Knight - Hussar (ok) Bishop - Priest (ok) Rook - Falconet (alright) Queen - idk, if you want to make a playable scenario how can you play Queen Isabella ? I mean she's not a unit. A female c...
