Re: Tournament Rules & Discussion

Yeah I thought casting would be an issue with that map, because even when i used cheats to remove the fog of war to have a better look, the fog of war reappears immediately.

Re: Tournament Rules & Discussion

Also recording games on wol hasnt been successful for me before. Most OOS for some reason. I think I have only recorded one full game of wol on eso the rest had 00S. Its something to consider as it may cause problems.

Have you played on the Congo map yet ? Its awful and not fun to play on from my experience.

Re: Tournament Rules & Discussion

I would replace Congo with a map like Iceland, with its huge central volcano, that would showcase the wol maps better than a Congo map where you cant see anything.

Re: Tournament Rules & Discussion

I actually kinda like Cave, it's a very cool unusual map. Don't think I've seen Congo yet. Will OBS UI versions of the WoL maps be released for casting purposes? Well on Congo the fog of war resets immediately after scouting the area. You basically need to build everywhere to have any sort of LOS. ...

Re: Tournament Rules & Discussion

One question , who decided Congo and Cave were suitable maps ? They are not fit for competitive matches in my opinion. Congo is just stupid with the fog of war reset, and cave is just not great either, you can't even see the hunts because they are the same colour as the terrain.

Re: NR 20 Tournament

I think nr10 would be harder to balance, 20 minutes gives every civ the potential for some heavy booms, I have played nr20 with native civs( who are not the best at nr)and they can abuse the firepit to catch up and surpass euro and asian civs in eco. Maybe a small patch where the most overpowered ca...

Re: NR 20 Tournament

I would actually be interested in this. I do play nr40 sometimes , but I always enjoy nr20 more. I think there is a lot of potential for interesting strategies and matchups. I also think it would be pretty interesting for viewers, I personally like to watch treaty battles but waiting 40 minutes to s...

You can't attack a whole group of people Does this always apply, or only for a certain type of groups? If the latter, how does one determine which groups it applies to? I mean religious or ethnic groups. "Every Muslim is a terrorist, we must protect us"... etc. I never attacked the whole ...

If anyone is seriously saying that there is no problem or no increase in problems linked directly to immigration and open-door policies in western Europe then they really need to do a reality check 3209 isn't doing a great job of defending himself vs smug idiots but in truth he is pretty much corre...

Re: Locking posts because someone disagrees.

Aggressive? Really , you must be a very delicate soul then. Man up. People are just far to easily offended by things these days. What happened to saying 'sticks and stone will break my bones but words will never hurt me' ? I think kids these days are brought up to be wimps and victims. I think most...

Anyway I had an official warning off Noel, so I suppose I should stop offending all you delicate souls in your ESOC safe space. Your posts are quite aggressive and you do tend to use a lot of obscene words which is not going to help you make your points or change people's opinions Aggressive? Reall...

It is no coincidence that since the syrian war and mass migration from the middle east and africa, we have begun to see far more attacks over europe not just the UK. Re: Locking posts because someone disagrees.

What you are ignoring is that islamic terror is on the rise in direct correlation with mass muslim migration. As the muslim population increases so will the number of attacks. We are also seeing m...

Yes they are a small population. But look at how much influence they already have in the areas they populate. The government are bending to the will of Islam. So because you don't understand Islam, you label all Arabs as terrorists and act is if you are afraid of anyone you know going to a Mosque or interacting with a Muslim. Re: Locking posts because someone disagrees.

There is a difference between locking a post when someone disagrees and when the post has gone off topic to the point of attacking a religion because you are afraid of them. Im not afraid of islam, that is a huge buzzword 'islamaphobe' , to label anyone with credible criticism about Islam. Not one ...
