Seems fine. Klamath being a clone is the only total disappointing one.

I guess they are different after you research the 25% tech but still disappointing to see base stat clone units.

Eh, Agra was a copy and paste job of the Euro fort. You can see this in the proto code with it being able to train Europ .....

Worth noting things like this. It's an oddity as it's hard to say if it was done intentionally or not by ES.

Wether it's worth changing is really up to the current patch team. I don't have much of an opinion on wether it's changed or not.

232. FortFrontier (Euro Fort) only does "Ranged" damage despite having a cannon attack. All other buildings with a land cannon attack perform "Siege" damage. (Debatable Change. Would make shipment more viable. Balance Implications)

Hmm, is it rounding up in game then? Should test it and see if the game is reading that second digit.

I'm guessing he data mined the guide. I plan on going through each proto entry an add building hp to the bottom. That way mistakes like that won't happen.

Most Ranged Cav: 7.3 Speed

So no .25 or .75 I saw... but your point still stands. It's not really an ugly number given other unit speeds. Gotta love that .....

That inconsistency is fixed on EP.

Ah that's right it's +1 range for vet and guard for EP. So still inconsistent, just in a different form. .....

Abus breaks the guard upgrade consistency and it's hardly ever brought up.

If anything the TAD and TWC expansions really glorified the whole very inconsistent pricing on age 3 and age 4 techs and it's always been argued as a civ bonus or what not. (And that's a fine argument to make before I get a bu .....

Read the entire thread.

One half is no changes. Other half seems to be for some sort of eco boost.

Neither in my opinion help with the OP question on how to make the civ more "fun".

Hmm seems consensus is to give ports another eco boost in the form of free upgrades or pseudo villager cards.

Not sure how that makes them more fun to play?

Seems like an ugly way to standardize the civ.

EDIT: Also ports are fine most likely from a balance perspective. They probably don't need any eco .....

Ports already have access to them age 2 via card.

It's always been a possible first shipment age 1, but usually sets you back cause opponent can easily deck check.

Honestly teepee could effect boats already? I honestly have never really gone water cause Sioux is so beyond trash on it. I think I have only ever gone boats vs France and Germany, knowing they probably aren't gonn .....

Teepee Aura was the biggest break in civ design EP has created.

My opinion on how a Teepee should work: Teepees original text string says that nearby unit HP is increased. I always took that to mean ALL units including boats and villagers.

Now the argument I have heard is it would make villagers un-r .....

Muskets have +2 range.


Not sure how to implement the range upgrade wether it should be on a card or tech upgrade, but I like the better range for units cause it plays into the Portuguese extra range gimmick.

Honestly if you want to make them more fun to play, boost their gimmick .....
