Hmm... Interesting they choose to go back to the middle ages. Wish they'd have gone for a different time period, but if the game play is solid I am sure I will enjoy it.

I too would be against this unless it's an official patch that includes the change. For instance TAD beta had the Japanese National Flag in use until very late into development.

The mods are easily accessible for personal use. EP probably shouldn't mess with flags as they have over a decade of being .....

Also if you're interested in having the HD flags for TWC/TAD/Revolution civs on RE patch here is the link. This is the same flag mod we used in EP by Lord Tahattus.

You can mod the flags yourself if you want to change it. Magnum LR has a whole bunch of mods that are HD Quality with several different historical flags.

I use these myself. They will not cause CRC mismatch as it's just an art file. Changes consul .....

Every infinite shipment is limiting because they are hardly able to be utilized, and most are age 4 shipments. Spahi are really just beefy Gendarme, they are unique as they can only be shipped from the home city similar to a merc.

(Sure they auto heal when not moving, but if your Spahi are stationary .....

A infinite shipment probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

However, seems to not really be needed currently. Neither fixes or helps ottoman since Spahi are really only useful as a shock troop early game. This feels like adding patch notes to add patch notes.

This is where the Hanson unit guide was awesome. It listed all the tags and stats and you could control-f to find all the stats tags super easily. Would probably be worth recreating that at some point with RE stats and current ESOC stats.

Yes. Light infantry on vanilla. Tags have changed several times over the years. Units lost or gained several tags.

However, when referencing coyotes and skirms (especially in the same post ^_^ ) it goes as follows.

Light Infantry: Coyote runners, Eagle Knight, Rattans
Infantry/Ranged infantry: Skirmisher .....

Or it's just not broken and there are other problems such as the age 3 mass.

But seriously. Just dock a Uhlan for a patch life span and go from there. That's the smallest change suggested so far.

Bet you'll find it will make little to no difference.

My first game was a random 2v2 with Fangor on Mac GR. He taught me quite a bit. Such as how to counter units and that he is always going to select the green color. Good times playing with Alex!

I don't think this would be so bad if it was set as a tech similar to legendary natives. 30%-100% improved stats for like 1000 or so resources in the imperial age. It would make mercs not totally useless in imperial.

It would rarely ever be used, but would make Merc cards more worth it once imperial .....

You don't. Some starts are the best for a civ but could be too strong. You balance based on what's best for civ on current meta.

For example. French best start is 200 wood start but it might be better to start them with additional gold or food crate and negate the wood crate.

Go to advanced search
